The smallest rodent in Britain, the little harvest mouse, keeps himself busy all year round, seeing through all four seasons. Rarely seen by humans due to being so small, it’s hard to envisage how enormous the world must be to them. I imagine their world to be that of a fairly tale, made up of grass forests and towering plants.

This little harvest mouse leads a solitary life, and remains a creature of habit. He knows his well trodden pathways, hidden around his intricately woven grass nest. He finds comfort in his daily tasks, consisting of foraging for seeds, grains and insects, and the upkeep of his home, nestled in the safety of a nearby hedgerow.
