Thresholds

A road that does not promise arrival.
A hill that swallows its own ending.
A sky so full of silence it presses against the earth.

It is the long stretch between who I was, and who I am becoming.

The earth is pale, but not empty.
The sky is blank, but not silent.
The path disappears, but it does not end.

It asks for trust.

My work is about thresholds. I work with light that almost disappears. I often stand in that in-between place — artist, mother, woman remembering who she is becoming.

And today, I am feeling courage to walk towards what I cannot yet see.
