Alice Greenwood
Alice grew up in the Devon countryside, where an early connection to nature shaped both her life and her art. Surrounded by her Grandfather’s painted portraits of birds in their natural habitats, she developed a love for creating pieces that are reflective of the natural world around her. Nature continues to be her constant - a source of solace and stillness; a theme that runs through her work.
More recently, Alice has discovered the work of her Great-Grandfather, John F. Greenwood, known for his woodcut engravings and prints of the Yorkshire Dales, deepening her sense of artistic roots, and connection to the land that has long inspired her family.
